Our Mission

Efficiency shouldn't be a luxury good. We believe great business advice shouldn't be reserved for companies that hire the big four consultancies. We exist to close the gap between what companies need and what they can afford. We hire brilliant people who want flexibility, not a fixed desk, and in return we get their sharpest thinking. Our clients get big-firm expertise at a small-business price, and our people get to do their best work on terms that actually work for their lives.

I am passionate about improving efficiency and solving problems. I am a change catalyst with infectious enthusiasm.

After graduating with a Masters Degree in Engineering, I was selected for the Fast Track management programme in a Blue Chip FMCG company, where I studied for Management Accounting (CIMA) while being exposed to all aspects of the business from manufacturing and supply chain through to marketing.

With over 20 years of consulting experience in a wide range of industries: FMCG, technology, insurance, public sector, primary industry and manufacturing, I have gained an ability to identify and tailor solutions to specific company’s needs.

I have led successful teams to deliver projects on a range of topics from ERP implementations to strategic planning on time and budget.

Most recently I have been working with a Local Authority both in Finance (to produce Fixed Fee standardised costing) and the Resource Consents team (to improve Operational efficiency).

I love making systems smarter, I thrive on turning clunky processes into seamless solutions.

I am a Qualified Accountant with a Masters Degree in IT Management. I’ve got more than 10 years experience in Accounting and Finance. I have a solid track record of helping businesses improve their financial operations, streamline processes, and make smarter decisions. Over the years, I’ve worked across a range of industries and geographies, supporting teams and clients with everything from financial reporting and systems implementation to project management and strategic analysis.

I’ve led initiatives that improved efficiency, reduced risk, and enhanced transparency, whether through software rollouts, reconciliation overhauls, or hands-on support for senior leadership. I enjoy digging into complex challenges, finding practical solutions, and working collaboratively to get things done—especially when deadlines are tight and expectations are high.

With a background that blends technical expertise, client-facing experience, and leadership, I bring a balanced approach to every engagement. I’m always looking for ways to add value, whether it’s through better systems, clearer communication, or smarter financial insights.

I am passionate about helping people thrive and reach their full potential through high-quality professional development.

After obtaining my PhD in education, I worked as a lecturer in educational development at the University of Canterbury for over 15 years. In this role, I supported academic programmes and teaching staff with tailor-made and research-based innovations in teaching, learning, curriculum, and assessment. I led numerous local, national and international research projects around teaching and learning, professional development, and leadership.

My experiences have given me a deep understanding of how organisations operate at a system level, how to initiate, lead, and support meaningful and self-sustained change, and how to create professional development solutions that are fit-for-purpose for employees' needs.
